Hi, my name is Kat and I'm from beautiful Southern California. I love the sun, beach and sand although, you would never know it by looking at my pale skin. I am a vegetarian and have been so for the past ten years. I have a strong compassion for animals and I try to be conscious of the the things I consume, hoping no animals are harmed in the making of a product (especially beauty products). I enjoy cooking, and I'm always looking for tasty, interesting and different veggie recipes. I am an enthusiastic animal lover and have a shih tzu puppy named Mookie (he's 5 years old now). I welcome all animal lovers to share photos of their furry friends.
I enjoy crafting and making jewelry. My friend and I have our own jewelry line, I'll share some pieces from our collection in future posts to come. I love pinup styles and all things vintage. My all time favorite classic style icon is Marylin Monroe. My true passion and love is in the fashion and beauty industry.
My love for fashion started with my career as a clothing buyer for an amazing family owned boutique called the Electric Chair in Huntington Beach. Going to conventions and being surrounded by such cool, interesting and inspiring people sparked my desire to be a part of the beauty industry. I later moved to Florida and persued my career as a make up artist and received my skin care and cosmetology license. I now work as a hair stylist and love every minute of it. The purpose of this blog is to share my perspective of life with you all, focusing on things that inspire and interest me. I'm really glad you're here and hope you enjoy!
